At the Climate Change Coalition of Door County, we’re protecting the place we love by turning concern into meaningful action. Guided by science and powered by community, we bring people together through education, collaboration, and hands-on solutions that help Door County thrive now and into the future. Our work includes supporting local businesses through the Climate Forward Business Program, planting thousands of trees with The Door County Big Plant, expanding local community composting, and making clean energy more accessible through solar group buys. We also help build local resilience through workshops and community-led planning. These efforts put climate action into practice — helping residents, businesses, and visitors alike strengthen our shared home. Together, we’re moving Door County forward toward a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow.
